A Lust Codex Guide
The Finish: The Female Orgasm Guide
You are not broken. You are not late. You are not alone. But you do need a better map. This is that map: the techniques with names, the partner scripts, and a practice plan built from the research on what women's bodies actually answer to.

The Gap Has Numbers, and the Numbers Have a Fix
Thirty points of missing pleasure, measured in a study of more than fifty thousand people.
When researchers asked over fifty thousand American adults how often they orgasm during partnered sex, straight men said 95 percent of the time. Straight women said 65. That is thirty points of missing pleasure in beds where everyone presumably meant well, and it has held steady across decades of asking.
From a study of 52,588 American adults. Frederick et al., 2018.
Here is the part that should make you hopeful. The gap is mechanical, and mechanics can be learned. Fewer than one in five women orgasm reliably from penetration alone, yet penetration still gets billed as the main event. The techniques women's bodies actually respond to have been counted, named, and published, mostly within the last decade.
When researchers finally asked women directly how they touch themselves, the answers had majorities. A continuous circling motion around the clitoris. Indirect touch through the hood, the surrounding skin, or fabric. Those techniques have names now, orbiting and layering, and four in ten women have squirted at least once. All of it is documented, common, and learnable. The Finish exists to teach it in sequence.
Herbenick et al., 2018 and 2023. U.S. probability samples.
Six Chapters, One Map
Every chapter is grounded in the published research behind our pleasure section, then translated into things your hands can actually do.
- The solo audit
Every named technique from the research, orbiting, layering, edging, and pressure play, mapped against your own body in private. You leave this chapter with a written record of what your hands learned, in your words.
- The pressure systems
Grinding, thigh work, and whole-vulva pressure: the techniques most women invented alone as girls and never translated as adults. Full mechanics, variations, and the partnered versions of each.
- The waters
Squirting, walked through calmly. The bladder science, the let-go moment almost everyone clenches through, and a way to explore it with zero performance debt. Whatever your body does at the end is a finding, never a grade.
- The wiring
Nipples and the brain map. Chest touch reaches the same sensory neighborhood as genital touch, and this chapter teaches the slower, wider arousal that wiring offers, plus how to steer a partner who treats your nipples like radio dials.
- The partner translation scripts
Word-for-word ways to show and tell a partner what you found. Scripts for the first conversation, scripts for mid-touch steering, and scripts for the night something new gets tried.
- The practice plan
A week-by-week sequence that turns knowledge into reflex. Solo first, partnered second, pressure off throughout. You set the pace; the plan holds the order.
The Free Layer Is the Proof
The Codex gives the what and the why away for free. The guide sells the complete how, in sequence.
You should never buy writing you have never read. The pleasure section of the Codex is the free layer this guide is built on: same research, same voice, same respect for your intelligence. Read these first. If they earn your trust, the guide goes three layers deeper on every one of them.

Browse the hubWho This Guide Is For
A guide that claims to be for everyone is for no one. Here is the honest version.
This is for you if
- You are a woman 35 or older who wants her orgasm back, or wants far more of it.
- You learned one technique decades ago, in a hurry and in silence, and never updated it.
- You orgasm alone and lose the thread with a partner, and you want the translation.
- You want language for what your body already figured out, so you can finally ask for it.
What this guide will never do
- It will not treat a medical condition. Pain, numbness, or a sudden change in sensation deserves a doctor before it deserves a guide.
- It will not promise you an orgasm. Anyone who promises one is selling a story. This guide teaches mechanics; your body keeps its own schedule, and that is its right.
- It will not work without practice. The plan asks for real private time, on purpose, more than once.
The gap between 65 and 95 percent is a map problem. This is the map, drawn to your body.
Written by Brenda de Souza
Brenda de Souza is a pen name, stated openly. The woman behind it is married, past 45, and rebuilt her own sexual life by researching it and applying what she found, one study and one evening at a time. She holds no clinical title and claims none. The authority here is research fluency plus lived experience: every claim in the guide traces to published work, and every technique survived contact with a real body and a real marriage.
